Hi Sean

Unfortnatly I dont have at present, but there is a good river run from Basel to near Rheinefelden I will try and map it in the next days for you. You can always come down for a run with us either nights, we have some good level runners who run road as well as the mountin races. Feel free to come along.

Thank you for making these running routes available! I'm a long distance runner, here in Basel on a business trip for the next two weeks and am looking for suggested routes approximately 15km and 30km in length. I'm sure I can create routes of my own with what you've provided, but if you have any recommended loops that would give me a good tour of Basel and surrounding area would be great. Best regards.

Hi Arjan

Yes, but you need to find one of the local forests. Lange Erlan and Birsfelden forest both have soft jogging tracks and many forest runs.

Best regards

Hi Maggie

Just turn up and run. we can have a chat and decide what level is for you, but if you want to join the beginners group to start that wont be a problem. It is not compulsory to run two nights per week :o) This is a friendly running club and we are not so strict, but we would advise you to train on other days in your free time, just so you can keep up with the group. Normally we ask people to train at least 2 to 3 times a week altogether.

Unfortunatly there is no discount from the membership if you run only once per week, but Im sure you will find from the club, that the membership is really good as we do lots of things on other days like, nights out and go to organised runs together. plus the club house is great with a bar and resterant for after the runs.

Look forward to meeting you.

Hi

I am interested in joing the running group, I am not sure if I would be classified as a beginner - I was running 5K in about 35 - 40 mins 6 months ago and have had a break? Also is it required that you run both nights, I might have difficultly with the Monday night when my husband is away on business, family commitments? How do I join, just turn up or do I need to fill in a form, how will you assess my level? I do not mind joining the beginners group to start me off. I look forward to receiving your comments.
